Our extensive stone memorial services are flexible to your needs. When you contact us, we'll listen to your needs and guide you through our range of options. All with no any obligation. When you are ready we'll provide you with a competitive written estimate of the costs involved. A visit to one of our two showrooms is always recommended.

Home visits
We are located in Chester & Upton on Wirral. However, if visiting us is not convenient for you, we will gladly visit you at your home or location of your choice.
An excellent starting point is right here on our website at our memorials page. which features a comprehensive selection of colours and styles, together with examples of inscriptions and other information.
To make it easy, most of our designs, shapes, colours and finishes can be interchanged, so please talk to us when you see a sample you like.
Memorial Drawings
As part of our service, we provide free memorial drawings showing your chosen inscriptions and design. These are available to you either via email, enabling you to share with family and friends, for personal collection from our showrooms, or they can be posted to your home.
We believe it is important that everyone involved in the decision making process has the opportunity to see the drawing and discuss the ideas. We are happy to alter drawings as many times as necessary and want to ensure all details such as names, dates and other information are absolutely correct before we reach the stage of engraving.
Once your design is finalised, we will start in line with your requested timetable. We understand that this is especially important if you wish to have the memorial installed to meet a special occasion, such as a birthday or anniversary.
We will take care of all the necessary rules and regulations with regard to the churchyard, cemetery or crematorium.

Memorial Insurance
We offer a comprehensive 'Stoneguard' insurance policy via Bridge Insurance Brokers, which is underwritten by Royal Sun Alliance. Stoneguard safeguards your memorial and covers the cost of repair or replacement if it is defaced or damaged over the years. Please ask our staff for further details.
Additional Inscriptions
Your family may already own a memorial in a Cemetery or Churchyard, on which you need an additional inscription to commemorate another member of the family. The original inscription on your family’s headstone or memorial may have been cut by a mason some 20, 30, or more years ago. You will, of course, want the lettering style of the new, additional inscription to match the individual style of the original. We will be more than happy to visit the Cemetery or Churchyard to view your memorial, withthout obligation, before providing further advice on the inscription and a total price for the work including ALL Lettering & V.A.T.
Granite & Marble Products
Our granite is purchased from around the world and from the premium quarries, Blue Pearl Marble for example is from Scandinavia. Black granite is sourced from India and can be a polished or matt finish. All of our marble is purchased from Italy.
Sandstone, Limestone & Slate
We offer traditional English sandstone from Yorkshire and Cumbria. Our Limestone, such as 'Portland & Purbeck' originates from England and 'Nabricina' from Italy. Cumbria and Wales provide our blue, plum & black slate.
Safety
Due to current health & safety standards, memorials (by Law) must have adequate fixing and anchoring mechanisms and this is for the protection of any persons specifically visiting the memorial and the general public also. Heritage Stone are certified and qualified for this work and take safety work very seriously.
Restoration Work
This involves possible machine and chemical cleaning to restore to original condition. Usually this process applies to marble & limestone. We would happily visit the memorial with no obligation and provide you with a detailed quote for the work.
Out of Hours & Weekend Appointments Available
At Heritage Stone we understand that it may not always be convenient for you to visit one of our showrooms. Please let us know what works best and we will arrange to visit you at home, or at a satisfactory alternative location.
Free Outside Parking / Disabled Access
Free parking is available at our Chester showroom and our shop on the Wirral.
